Families at Sukkot In-Gathering

Sukkot is a family-friendly festival! Kids get to join in the fun and celebrate the coming rains, as well. Families are encouraged to join for the entire festival.

Our Kid’s Village invites youth of all ages supported by experienced mentors who facilitate activities tailored to each age group. Our wonderful mentors are dedicated to helping kids connect to their sense of wonder, the natural world, and the celebratory spirit of Sukkot.

Kids age 0-3 Families with tots are encouraged to join the festivities.  We will have special tot-oriented programming geared toward connecting families and their little ones with each other and the magic of sukkot.

Kids age 4–10 are led by our mentors in activities including outdoors exploring, playing games, crafting, and bonding with other children.

Teens age 11-18 join in both kid village activities or adult activities.

With the range of activities offered there is something for everyone!

Please note: While we provide supervision and programming, all parents and guardians are responsible for knowing where their children and teens are at all times.

Contact us with any questions about our Sukkot youth programs. We hope to see your family at the festival!

This Year We Are Excited to Have a Performance with Octopretzel!

An interactive, engaging, and super-fun experience for kids (and their parents too)! Octopretzel brings original songs as well as tried and true traditional favorites, is whimsical and fun, and has an underlying sensitivity for nature, feelings and story.   Best described as folk music, it crosses generations and genres, weaving together styles such as bluegrass, rock and roll, lullabies and even nursery rhymes.  Their shows integrate elements of many cultures such as African drumming, klezmer fiddling, middle-eastern percussion and singing styles, and songs with words in Spanish, Hebrew and even Quechua.
