Apply for a Wilderness Torah Internship
Join the Wilderness Torah team! We are a fledgling Jewish nonprofit organization re-connecting Judaism to its earth-based and agricultural roots.
As an intern, you will be instrumental in taking our organization to the next level and will be part of a fun, dedicated and passionate group of people.
Projects may include:
• Co-creating Passover in the Desert 2010 (happening April 1-5)
• Researching fundraising opportunities
• Creating web content and pages and updating our website
• Compiling research and analyzing data from event evaluations
• Finding new avenues to market Wilderness Torah’s events
• Assisting with data entry and other database projects
Skills needed:
Excellent organizational skills, general computer and web knowledge, and a commitment to connecting Judaism and the earth. You should be self-directed, committed and able to work well in a less structured work environment. The ideal candidate has data entry and analysis experience, research experience, and is adept at basic website maintenance (not programming).
You will meet weekly with WT staff, but you will likely work from home or a café.

This is an unpaid internship for approximately 10-20 hours/week. We are more than happy to work with students to receive school credits where available. Interns are directly supervised by an experienced staff member and are also given the opportunity to participate for free in Passover in the Desert and any other event that occurs during your tenure.
